Kate Larsen (she/her) is an arts, cultural and non-profit consultant and writer with more than 20 years’ experience in the non-profit, government and cultural sectors in Australia, Asia and the UK. Kate has particular expertise in the areas of non-profit governance, workplace culture and well-being, online communication and communities, and increasing access for marginalised groups.
Kate’s professional history includes roles as Director of Writers Victoria, Co-Convenor of Arts Industry Council (Victoria) and CEO of Arts Access Australia. Earlier roles include Program Director of Shape Arts in London, Performing Arts Touring Manager of Country Arts WA and Front of House Manager of Perth Institute of Contemporary Arts in Western Australia, and Marketing Executive of Singapore Arts Festival in Singapore.
Kate currently lives and works on Kaurna Yerta in what is now known as Adelaide, South Australia. The home of her heart is the regional town of Albany on Menang Noongar Boodja in south-west Western Australia.
